Radon Gas Fans & Systems

8th June 2010 - A new range of radon mitigation fans have been introduced to the National Ventilation range.   Radon mitigation fans are used with under-floor extract and ventilation systems designed to remove the gas from underneath the floor of a house and vent it into the atmoshere through a pipe.   Radon is measured in becquerels per cubic meter of air (Bq m3) and the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has set the UK Action Level for radon at 200 Bq m3. Most homes in the UK have radon of around 20 Bq m3.
